The Little Match Girl

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who sold matches on the cold winter streets. Her clothes were old and thin, and her hands were red with cold. It was Christmas Eve, but she had not sold any matches all day. She dared not go home because she hadn't made any money, and her father would surely scold her.

As she walked along the icy road, she saw people gathered in warm shops, laughing and enjoying themselves. The delicious smell of roasted goose wafted through the air, making her stomach growl. She sat down at the corner of a house, lighting one match after another to keep herself warm. In the flickering light of the matches, she imagined many wonderful things: a warm stove, a beautiful Christmas tree, and even a kind grandmother who would take care of her.

But each time the match burned out, reality returned, and she found herself sitting alone in the cold. Finally, she lit all her matches together, imagining that she was sitting by a great stove, surrounded by love and warmth. Just then, she heard a soft voice calling her name. Looking up, she saw her grandmother, smiling gently as if she had come from heaven.

"Grandma!" cried the little girl, holding out her arms. With the last match still burning, her grandmother took her hand and flew away into the night sky, leaving only the cold and silence behind.

The next morning, people found her frozen body on the street, still clutching the burnt-out matches in her hand. Though she left this world, her dream of happiness and warmth lived on forever.

小女孩的火柴

从前，有一个小女孩在寒冷的冬夜街头卖火柴。她的衣服又旧又薄，冻得通红的手握着火柴。那是圣诞前夕，可她一整天都没卖出一根火柴。她不敢回家，因为她没有挣到钱，而父亲一定会责骂她。

她沿着结冰的小路走着，看到人们聚集在温暖的商店里，欢声笑语中享受节日的快乐。空气中飘散着烤鹅的香味，让她饥肠辘辘。最后，她坐在一栋房子的角落里，一根接一根地点燃火柴取暖。在火柴微弱的光芒中，她幻想着许多美好的事物：一个暖和的炉子、一棵漂亮的圣诞树，甚至是一位慈爱的奶奶来照顾她。

然而，每次火柴燃尽后，现实又回来了，她发现自己依然孤零零地坐在冰冷的街边。终于，她点燃了所有的火柴，幻想自己坐在巨大的炉火旁，被爱与温暖包围。就在这时，她听到一个温柔的声音呼唤着她的名字。抬头一看，她看见奶奶正微笑着向她伸出手，仿佛是从天堂而来。

“奶奶！”小女孩喊道，伸出双臂。就在最后一根火柴燃烧殆尽时，奶奶牵起她的手，带着她飞向了夜空，只留下寒冷和寂静。

第二天清晨，人们发现她冻僵的身体躺在街上，手里还紧握着烧尽的火柴。虽然她离开了这个世界，但她对幸福与温暖的梦想却永远留存了下来。
